How much does it cost to live in a Residential Aged Care Facility such as Wheatfields?
Fees at Wheatfields are determined by the Federal Government through the Department of Health and Ageing and will be different for each individual. They are determined by factors such as if an individual is on a pension or is a self funded retiree, with income and assets taken into consideration in calculating fees.
Every resident will pay the set basic daily fee and may pay an accommodation cost or contribution of either a Daily Accommodation Payment or a Refundable Accommodation Deposit, or a combination of both. Other fees may apply as assessed by Services Australia.
