Wheatfields Inc. is a community-owned, not-for-profit aged care organisation, administered by a Board of Management elected by members of the local community.
We are currently operating as a 33-bed residential aged care service:
- 31 single rooms
- 2 twin rooms
These rooms provide accommodation for older people who have been assessed by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) as needing ongoing residential care at either high or low care levels. A portion of beds may be used for short-term respite care.
Renovation & Expansion
Wheatfields is in the midst of a major building project. On completion, we will operate as a 73-bed facility.
Estimated completion: early–mid 2027.
The staff of Wheatfields are dedicated to the wellbeing of residents and strive to make every stay as comfortable as possible through the consistent provision of quality care and supportive services.
Suitably trained staff are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide care and respond to resident needs.
