COVID-19 Information

We pride ourselves at Wheatfields Incorporated on managing and focusing on the health, wellness and safety of our residents and staff in particular the management of COVID-19 risks. This page is to assist residents, families, visitors, staff and key stakeholders with information regarding how Wheatfields is responding to the current situation of COVID-19.

The Wheatfields Executive Team and Infection Prevention Control Lead are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation on a daily basis. We have management systems in place and implement these policies and processes as the needs arise.

Please do not visit Wheatfields if:

You, or anyone in your household, are unwell

You, or anyone in your household, have been told to self-isolate or self-quarantine, or are waiting for your COVID-19 test

You have not received a 2023 influenza vaccine unless you have been granted a medical exemption.

You have not received three doses of COVID-19 vaccine unless you have been granted a medical exemption.

Masks are currently not mandatory whilst onsite at Wheatfields, however if you choose to wear a mask, we thank you for your consideration in maintaining the safety of everyone at Wheatfields.

Screening of staff and visitors prior to entry continues and testing via a RAT is currently mandatory and required at least every 3 days, in line with recommendations from the Department of Health & Aged Care.

All staff and visitors must have their 2023 Flu Vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination with booster and produce this evidence upon entry.
